Whilst nearly all of the bags are shown in our traditional olive green colour, they are also available in our Khaki (Desert tan) colour. Other single colours such as blue, black, navy, red, wine, and tweeds are available - as are matching webbing and different leather colours.

The company also manufactures the same bags for clients with their own logos and, other bags for a variety of companies and shops, sometimes to their own design, onto which we put their own logos.
If you have any requirements for quality British made luggage or bags, we are always happy to make up samples from your sketches.

The company makes bags to customer requirements for export far and wide and, we welcome trade and design enquiries from abroad.

John Chapman Ltd Travel and Sporting bags/luggage can be obtained via a number of stores in various countries. We welcome Trade and Wholesale Enquiries from Luggage and Field Sports shops as well as Internet Trading sites.

We have a variety of colours available and do make certain bags individually to customer requirements. We also manufacture from Client supplied cloth or can assist in locating different cotton or tweed colours.

Based at our wonderful old converted tannery factory in Carlisle, the company has been operating for over 20 years and sells its wares Internationally. Produced by experts and with each bag personally checked before being stamped, the finest quality natural materials and solid fittings all go towards making a John Chapman Bag a cherished item. Used by fishermen and sports persons all over the world and chosen by leading companies for their usefulness, ruggedness and high quality.

It is not possible to show all the different types of bags and luggage we have made for a variety of our clients. However from all leather to Cotton canvas, Tartan, Tweeds, Silks and specially designed materials we have been proud to have supplied some of the best known names Nationally and Internationally.

Many of our products are now found in Stores in Japan and we are happy that they are proud to sell our products under the John Chapman Design Label. We manufacture special products for a range of Companies in Japan. We would also be delighted to hear from any companies that would like to use our manufacturing services, our design and bespoke services or sell these wonderful British Products, made in Cumbria.
